Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup (2 sticks / 227 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1½ cups (300 g) light brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup (129 g) creamy peanut butter
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups (375 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup (240 g) peanut butter chips
- 2 cups (376 g) Reese’s Pieces
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and peanut butter until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
- Fold in the peanut butter chips and Reese’s Pieces.
- Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between cookies.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden and the centers remain soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Chill the dough for 20–30 minutes for thicker, chewier cookies.
- Press extra Reese’s Pieces onto the dough before baking for a bakery-style appearance.
- Do not overbake—the centers should still look slightly underdone when removed from the oven.
