For the Raspberry Filling
- 6 cups fresh raspberries
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch baking dish.
- Mix the flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Cut in the chilled butter until coarse crumbs form.
- Stir in the chopped walnuts.
- In another bowl, gently combine the raspberries, sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and walnuts.
- Spread the raspberry mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the berries.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
- Cool for 15–20 minutes before serving.
