Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large ripe but firm yellow peaches, sliced
- 1 cup blackberries
- ¾ cup blueberries
- Seeds from 1 medium pomegranate
- 6 large basil leaves, cut into ribbons
- 1–2 teaspoons honey
- Juice of ½ lime
Instructions
- Wash and gently dry all the fruit.
- Slice the peaches into thin wedges or bite-sized pieces.
- Add the peaches, blackberries, blueberries, and pomegranate seeds to a large mixing bowl.
- In a small bowl, mix the lime juice with 1 teaspoon of honey. Add the remaining teaspoon if you prefer a sweeter dressing.
- Add the basil ribbons to the fruit.
- Pour the honey-lime mixture over the fruit.
- Gently fold everything together until lightly coated, being careful not to crush the berries.
- Refrigerate for 10–15 minutes before serving for the best flavor.
Notes
- Use peaches that are ripe but still firm so they hold their shape when tossed.
- Start with 1 teaspoon of honey and add more only if the fruit needs additional sweetness.
- For the freshest flavor, add the basil and dressing shortly before serving.
